Job Description:

1. Responsible to look after the activities related to manufacturing engineering in one of the two production areas given and will report to Head of Manufacturing Engineering.
2. To study the drawings in detail and plan out for all necessary dummy items required to facilitate the correct method of manufacturing. He will give the material requirement of these dummy items to PMC.
3. Also help manufacturing by designing the regular manufacturing tools, like stands, lifts, platforms etc.
4. Carry out work, time & motion study, as assigned by his department head.
5. Will design with or without the help of design dept., all jigs & fixtures needed to control welding distortions.
6. Review of Engineering drawings (post order) /data sheets (pre order) and look at the manufacturability of the equipments w.r.t. available resources. He will be attending Design review meetings, to look at the manufacturability of drawings and suggest all new non-standard jigs & fixtures needed.

Educational Qualification:  B.E / B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical / Production.

Experience: Minimum 5 Years in Production Engineering in Fabrication Industries dealing with Manufacturing of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors etc
